This name is familiar to some yet unknown to others. Familiar because he once won the "Silver Fern Award" presented by the former Minister of Commerce Paul Goldsmith and was a program host on a Chinese TV station; unknown because, after only 8 years in the real estate industry, he has repeatedly set performance records and become a star in the industry.

The reporter connected with this versatile elite to uncover the story behind his rapid rise. In 2017, Roman Hu was still serving as the director of television programs and planning to launch a real estate reality show called "Top Agents." To gain a deeper understanding of the real estate industry, he enrolled in property courses and obtained a license. Although the program did not air due to budget issues, his career transformation had begun.

Subsequently, Roman Hu founded his own media consulting company, becoming a media advisor for well-known institutions and brands such as Tourism NZ, Auckland Tourism Board, Martell, BMW, and others, thanks to his excellent communication strategies and cross-cultural communication skills. When asked about the secret to his success, he smiled and said, "I am just an ordinary person, with a gentle wife and a mischievous daughter. In 2023, amidst his busy work, Roman continued to study online for 17 hours a week, obtaining high-level real estate advisor licenses in New Zealand and Australia within a year. In 2024, he successfully obtained the honorific title of AREINZ (Director Level Member) awarded by the New Zealand Real Estate Institute (REINZ). In early 2025, he began to pursue an online MBA in the United States, with the expected graduation at the end of the year.

Roman believes that "trust" is his most valuable asset. Since entering the industry in 2017, he has established solid cooperative relationships with many developers and clients, and the cooperative model has become increasingly stable and deeply trusted. "I was born into a military family, and I was educated from a young age that keeping promises is guarding honor and cannot be compromised." Now, Roman Hu and his 5 team members are planning their business goals for the 2025-2026 financial year.
