The World Expo series is based on the Eastern structure of Ming-style furniture, with bamboo as the inspiration to break through traditional boundaries. The linear tension of overlapping bamboo joints is deconstructed into a modern design language that is both rigid and soft. The traditional非遗Hai Pai mortise and tenon technique and Western human engineering are blended here — the curve of the handrail is like flowing water meeting stone, retaining the literary heart of Ming-style furniture while incorporating the relaxation of contemporary life. Blue and white porcelain patterns stain the wood surface, and porcelain inlaid paintings bring landscapes into the room.
