140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) - Full Coverage 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) Officially Kicks Off

Today (October 15th), the 140th China Import and Export Commodities Fair (Canton Fair) officially commenced, running from October 15th to November 4th in three phases in Guangzhou. This event also marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Canton Fair.

In this edition, over 32,000 enterprises brought nearly 4.88 million exhibits to participate, occupying a total exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters with 75,000 exhibition booths. More than 11,000 of these enterprises are specialized, innovative, and new, or champions in a single product field.

64% of the participating companies are utilizing new technologies such as industrial internet and artificial intelligence. The proportion of new products and green products on display reached 23.2% and 26% respectively, both setting historical highs.

Phase 1: October 15th to 19th - Advanced Manufacturing

The first phase focuses on "Advanced Manufacturing," concentrating on five major sectors including electronic home appliances and industrial automation, with 19 exhibition areas. It also features 17 special zones for emerging future industries like service robots, drones, and display technology, showcasing innovative achievements in new energy, intelligent manufacturing, and embodied intelligence.

Phase 2: October 23rd to 27th - Quality Home Appliances

The second phase, themed "Quality Home Appliances," covers a wide range of products such as daily ceramics, kitchenware, home appliances, glass crafts, home decor, gardening tools, festive goods, construction and decoration materials, bathroom equipment, and furniture. It also includes an import exhibition section.

Phase 3: October 31st to November 4th - Better Life

The third phase, themed "Better Life," covers a variety of categories including clothing, shoes and bags, home textiles, carpets, office stationery, health care products, sports and leisure goods, personal care, bathroom supplies, and pet products.
