Traditional mechanical rotary knobs can only provide an approximate flame position, failing to inform users of the exact fire power and making it difficult to record and replicate the same cooking temperature. Past innovations have largely focused on increased flame power, more complete combustion, and more durable structures, but the way people operate these devices has not fundamentally changed.
Fire King has revolutionized the cooking experience through flame digitalization and power standardization. By dividing the fire power range of 0.4—5.23kW into 15 levels, digital control has become the common language between users and flames. Users can now visually see the fire power, devices can execute it, and programs can call it, providing a foundation for recording and replicating cooking processes.
The shift to digital fire control first changes the way fire power is expressed. It transforms the past's fuzzy, continuous, and hand-dependent flame into a set of digital parameters that devices can recognize, display, and execute. Users no longer just see if the flame is too high or too low; they can now clearly know which level the current fire power is at and repeat the operation with the same parameters.

Fire King's decision to eliminate the rotary knob and adopt a touchscreen is not to make the product look more like an electronic device, but to establish a direct entry point for digital fire control. Mechanical knobs are suitable for the mechanical valve era, relying on position for模糊调节; the touchscreen, however, can clearly present the flame levels, cooking time, temperature status, and device interaction, and allow different control interfaces to share the same set of digital commands.
Therefore, the true change is not in the simplicity of the glass panel, but in the stove's new capabilities of being "visible, controllable, recordable, and callable." The touchscreen allows users to see the flame power, and digital control ensures that the device accurately executes, making the combination of both the foundation of the new generation of stoves.
Fire visibility solves the problem of "what is the current state," while fire controllability addresses "whether the device can stabilize at the target." After the flame is digitalized, mobile phone fire control and voice control are no longer separate functions but different interaction interfaces that call the same set of flame systems.
More importantly, digital fire control opens up space for temperature control, time control, and oil smoke control. Devices can only accurately control the flame before they can actively increase or decrease the flame based on the pot bottom temperature, adjust the cooking time according to the cooking stage, and work in coordination with the smoke extractor. Without the underlying digital control, so-called intelligence often only stays at the reminder and display level.
Established in 1992 in Shenzhen, Fire King has been pushing the boundaries of stove innovation with technologies like single-burner, double-burner, flame concentration, and low flame. In 2014, facing the narrowing space for innovation in traditional cookware, Fire King proposed to "make the stove like Apple," establishing a direction from mechanical knobs to digital intelligence.
In 2018, Fire King launched its first touchscreen stove 523/X, marking the entry of digital fire control into the real kitchen. In 2022, the smart stove 1.0 formed a "triple fire control" with touchscreen control, mobile phone control, and voice control. In 2025, Fire King's digital fire control technology was recognized as "internationally leading" by the China Light Industry Federation. In the same year, Fire King was certified as the "number one in the national sales of full-touch smart stoves" by the China Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Association. In 2026, Fire King was also certified as the "creator of touch screen smart stoves" by the China Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Association.
The shift from rotary knobs to digital fire control seems to be just a change in operation methods, but it is actually a reconstruction of the underlying capabilities of gas stoves. In the past, devices were only responsible for providing flame, while cooking judgment was almost entirely done by humans. In the future, devices will be able to sense the state, execute parameters, assist in decision-making, and work together with pots, smoke extractors, and digital recipes to complete a dish.
