Transform Your Kitchen with the Disappearing Range Hood
Friend came over, took a look around, and finally stopped at the kitchen door. Staring at the stove for several seconds, she said, “How does your kitchen look bigger than it actually is?”
The secret is simple—not the cabinets chosen, not the tiles laid, but the absence of that range hood.
In traditional kitchens, the range hood is an unavoidable “visual nail.” Hanging on the wall, its thick body sticks out, a piece of cabinet cut out, making the entire wall look like it's missing teeth. Especially in an open-plan kitchen, the openness and unity desired are all destroyed by this machine.
Midea's integrated stove takes a different approach: since the range hood on the wall is not attractive, why not take it down.

One: When the range hood disappears from the wall, the kitchen's aesthetics truly begin
The aesthetic limit of traditional kitchens has never been determined by the cabinets, but by that range hood. It hangs there, like an ill-fitting hat, no matter how you match it, it is always the “uninvited guest”.
Midea's side-vent technology moves the smoke machine module from the wall to the side of the stove. The heavy machine is no longer blocking the top, and the cabinets can finally be made into a complete row. The visual height of the kitchen opens up, and the sense of space becomes obvious.
This is not a minor repair, but a structural redesign of the kitchen's visual logic. When the “nail” is removed, the entire kitchen wall is restored, and cabinets, countertops, and tiles truly begin to “speak”.

Two: Not “put in,” but “grow together”
The installation logic of many kitchen appliances is “squeeze”—put the machine into the reserved space in the cabinet. If the size doesn't match, leave a gap; if the color doesn't match, ignore it. In the end, the machine is the machine, and the cabinet is the cabinet, each is its own.
Midea changes the logic: let the machine and the cabinet “grow together”.
Through precise size control and modular design, Midea's integrated stove's panel is flush with the countertop, and the edges are aligned with the front of the cabinet, with gaps controlled to the millimeter level. Especially with the introduction of Midea's all-scene smart kitchen concept, not only do the five dimensions of the upper cabinets, countertops, base cabinets, front edges, and skirting lines fit perfectly with the cabinet, but also the kitchen's water purification and heating systems are integrated into one. From the front, it is almost impossible to see where the machine and the cabinet are joined.
This is not “squeezed in,” but from the very beginning of the design, the kitchen appliances become part of the kitchen space, and the kitchen becomes part of the whole house. This sense of integration is something that any independent appliance cannot achieve.

Three: Internationally awarded “aesthetics”
Attractive is of two kinds: one is stunning at first glance, but gets tired of looking at it after a while; the other is getting more and more pleasant to look at, and still feels comfortable years later. Midea pursues the latter.
Bauhaus Design Award, New York Design Award, Success Design Award, American Innovation Design Award, Italian IIDA AWARD... In just a few years, Midea's multiple products have won these top international design awards. The core of the Bauhaus concept is “form follows function”—the beauty is not for the sake of beauty, but for better service.
Midea's minimalist aesthetics for integrated stoves abandons unnecessary decorations. There are no extra lines, no fancy colors; the whole machine is a complete black panel, clean and neat. It won't stand out in any style of kitchen, but without it, the whole space feels incomplete.
This design is not picky about decoration styles. Modern minimalist, luxury retro, wabi-sabi, solid wood... it can naturally blend in. Unlike some “internet celebrity models,” they look good when you buy them, but after two years, your aesthetic changes, and they look more and more awkward.

Four: The “high-end” feeling in the details, which is comfortable to use every day
The real strength of Midea's integrated stove is not just in its “good looks from a distance,” but in its “comfort to use.”
The ultra-thin storage platform breaks through the traditional bulky feeling of integrated stoves, light and agile. The spacious storage surface can not only store spices but also place an iPad without any pressure. From bulky to light, from clumsy to agile—the physical “weight reduction” of this machine ultimately translates into visual “space expansion” in the kitchen.
All edges are rounded. You may not pay attention to it, but every time you wipe the countertop or reach for something, you won't be poked by sharp corners. This “silent nourishment” is the designer's profound understanding of the real usage scenario.
The gap between the machine and the cabinet is controlled to the millimeter level, without any dirt-trapping corners, and it is very easy to wipe. These details, individually unremarkable, but when combined together, become an experience that is “good but can't be explained where, but just feels comfortable.”

Five: The “high-end” feeling of an open-plan kitchen starts with choosing the right integrated stove
Some say that an open-plan kitchen is a brave choice. Because you have to face a reality: the kitchen is no longer a closed “backstage,” but a “front” that is always seen. Whether the range hood looks good or not directly determines the aesthetic limit of the whole house.
Midea's integrated stove, with its minimalist design, restrained lines, and internationally recognized aesthetic standards, has provided an answer: the aesthetics of the kitchen is not achieved by “hiding,” but by “integrating.” When the machine and the cabinet integrate into one, when the range hood disappears from the wall, when every detail is saving you trouble—the kitchen is no longer the hidden corner of the house that needs to be “hidden,” but a place that friends will look at twice when they come over.
It stands there, not fighting for attention, but without it, the whole space feels wrong. This is the “growing” sense of high-end.
