Guangdong Furniture Association 8th Governing Council Ceremony Guangdong Furniture Association's 8th Governing Council Inauguration Ceremony Held in Guangzhou

On May 26th, the 8th Governing Council Inauguration Ceremony of the Guangdong Furniture Association was grandly held at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Mr. Wu Chixu, the founder of Honggu轩 brand, attended the conference as the Executive President of the Guangdong Furniture Association. With his influence in the industry and outstanding contributions, he was appointed as a "Think Tank Expert Advisor". Ms. Yang Jing, the Marketing Director of Honggu轩, was elected as the Supervisory Board Chairman in the election of the 8th Governing Council.

The event opened with the solemn national anthem. The thematic film "Unite Heart and Strive for Brilliance" reviewed the pragmatic and enterprising work of the 7th Council over the past five years. Since its establishment in 1990, the association has gone through a glorious journey of thirty-five years. The former president, Mr. Wang Ke, delivered a heartfelt speech, covering forty significant events from formulating seven five-year plans, founding the Guangzhou Furniture Exhibition, successfully dealing with international trade frictions, to promoting digital transformation, all of which witnessed the pioneering spirit of Guangdong's furniture people.

The flag of trust and expectation was handed over from the former president, Mr. Wang Ke, to the new president, Mr. Li Lianzhu. Mr. Li Lianzhu expressed that the new council would focus on "new quality productivity," promoting deep integration of artificial intelligence with the industry; "brand going out" to make Guangdong furniture a renowned regional brand; and "green and low-carbon" for sustainable development.

The Long River surges, and the journey is endless. The 8th Governing Council of the Guangdong Furniture Association will adhere to party leadership, act as a resolute implementer, a solid promoter, and a steadfast practitioner of high-quality development in the industry, and make new contributions to the Guangdong furniture industry!
