On last Saturday, I scheduled an installation appointment with the professionals from Oupeng.

Frankly, before this installation, I had a knot in my mind – my cat, named "Niangao", is as timid as sesame seeds. Normally, when a delivery comes, it hides under the bed for half a day. This time, the installation of the kitchen cabinets would involve drilling, and the sound of the drill would definitely cause it stress.

When the installer arrived, Niangao was napping on the sofa. The installer just glanced at it, asked nothing, and carried his tool bag straight to the kitchen, pulling the sliding door shut. I handed him a bottle of water, and he just shook his head: "This job is delicate, I can't stop."

After the installation, he brought a piece of cardboard from his car, spread it on the ground, and collected all the screws, adhesives, and waste from his tool box. He even took out a lint roller and rolled over the door mat to pick up any fine sand that might have been stepped on.

Before leaving, he even took the garbage bag from my front door down the stairs.

Later, I found out that Oupeng's slogan "Treating the small matters of customers as our own" is not just written on the wall, but ingrained in the habits of their installers.

The image of the installer holding the drill in one hand and the vacuum cleaner in the other will be etched in my memory forever.

Over the years, they have turned countless "small" things into our "big" lives. By reviewing Oupeng's customer visit records over the years, you'll notice something interesting. There are few grand words, only "small" things. Some thank the designer for changing the lower drawers to full-extension during their pregnancy, saving them from bending over. Others thank the installer for using the vacuum cleaner to prevent dust during drilling. Some thank them for adjusting the door opening force until it was just right. They have even taken care of a cat, a fishing rod, a bottle of wine, and a mother who didn't want to look in the mirror after chemotherapy. Every single one of these is so tiny. But when you put all the "microscopic" things together, you'll find that they make up the whole of life. A home is made up of countless small things. Ignoring a small matter is a daily annoyance. Treating it with care brings daily comfort and love.

Oupeng's slogan "坚持把客户的每一件小事当作自己的大事" is not on a billboard. It's in the designer's question of "Which hand do you usually use to open the door?", in the installer's silhouette adjusting hinges, and in the night light on the balcony that lights up for you at midnight. It's so small that you might miss it, but so big that it can hold the bottom line of a person's happiness. Salute to all those who persist in the small things. What you do is a big thing.
