Munich, March 26, 2026—BSH Home Appliances Group achieved revenue of 15 billion euros in the 2025 fiscal year. Adjusted for exchange rate effects, this represents a decrease of 1.6% compared to 2024, while at constant currencies, it increased by 2.8%. Compared to 2024, BSH Home Appliances, as the largest home appliance manufacturer in Europe, achieved revenue growth in North America, Europe, and emerging markets. CEO Dr. May Zhiyuan emphasized the significance of these achievements: "We successfully navigated through a challenging period. This past year has been filled with challenges but also confirms that our future planning is effective."

The market environment in the 2025 fiscal year continued to face numerous challenges, including a persistently weak real estate market and many geopolitical tensions. At the same time, the group's success in growth markets indicates that BSH Home Appliances' future planning is yielding results: with a strong brand portfolio, clear strategic decisions, focused investments, and a product mix that meets market demand, BSH Home Appliances has successfully consolidated its position in key regions and tapped into new growth potential.

BSH Home Appliances Group has consolidated its market position through revenue growth in North America, Europe, and emerging markets

In the North American growth market, BSH Home Appliances achieved revenue growth of over 5% at constant currencies (an increase of 0.4% in euros due to the dollar exchange rate), with a further increase in market share. This was mainly due to the high-end brands Gaggenau and Thermador, as well as growth in the integrated refrigerator and gas stove segments. At the same time, BSH Home Appliances continues to strengthen the presence and competitiveness of the Bosch brand in the region.

Despite price pressure, revenue in the European region still increased by 1.2%. Therefore, BSH Home Appliances has successfully reversed the trend of the previous years even in challenging market conditions. In particular, revenue in the embedded segment increased by 4%, and the positive development in local markets including Germany, the UK, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy highlights BSH Home Appliances' ambition to shape the market as a leading home appliance manufacturer in Europe.

In the emerging markets region (including Turkey, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa), revenue also achieved a solid growth of 2.3% - even an increase of 24% at constant currencies. The newly constructed regional production base in Cairo further demonstrates this growth trend. To reflect the scale, vitality, and strategic importance of the Indian market, India will be established as an independent region starting in 2026.

Influenced by the continued weakness in the market, revenue in the Greater China region decreased by 3.2% at constant currencies (a decrease of 7.1% in euros due to exchange rate effects). Despite this, BSH Home Appliances still maintains a leading position among foreign home appliance manufacturers in this market.

Most product categories maintained growth momentum

Despite the challenging market environment, BSH Home Appliances saw growth in most product categories. The kitchen appliance sector achieved a trend reversal, with oven sales increasing by 2.0%, stove and range hood sales increasing by 2.6%, and integrated stove hood combinations showing significant growth trends. Dishwasher (up 2.1%) and home appliances (up 0.1%) categories also achieved growth. The customer service business, a key factor in ensuring product life, improving customer and retail partner satisfaction, also continued to grow, with sales increasing by 0.3% year-on-year. Sales of refrigerators (down 4.0%) and laundry products (down 1.0%) categories saw declines. This was mainly due to the highly competitive market environment, with this impact being particularly pronounced in the Greater China region, where both product categories saw a decline in sales.

Important innovations inject strong momentum into BSH Home Appliances' future planning

In 2025, BSH Home Appliances once again demonstrated its ability to develop targeted solutions through innovative development that can inspire consumers to use home appliances more enthusiastically in their daily lives, alleviate their burdens, and create clear added value. The focus on research and development ensures stronger consumer-oriented products and innovation and accelerates time-to-market. Therefore, BSH Home Appliances further increased its R&D expenditure to 847 million euros in the 2025 fiscal year, representing 5.6% of total revenue, an increase over the previous year. CFO Dr. Thorsten Lücke said: "Market-leading innovation driven by R&D investment is one of BSH Home Appliances' growth engines." In addition, BSH Home Appliances maintains a high level of forward-looking investment, reaching 463 million euros, accounting for 3.1% of revenue, effectively supporting growth strategies in all markets. Investment focus areas include digitalization, artificial intelligence, IT infrastructure security upgrades, customer service, market layout, and sales.

Strong innovation for consumers who pursue quality

This strategic success was also reflected in 2025, with the launch of many new products, pioneering innovations, and a high focus on artificial intelligence technology. "This is not just about technology itself, but about providing solutions that make home appliance operation simpler and more convenient, and performance more outstanding and reliable," Dr. May Zhiyuan said. During this period, BSH Home Appliances launched several key products, including the world's first fully integrated embedded kitchen robotic vacuum cleaner under the Bosch brand, as well as the world's first drawer steamer with single steam function under the Bosch, Siemens Home Appliances, and Neff brands.

In the home appliance category, especially in the fields of floor care appliances, kitchen food processors, and fully automatic coffee machines, innovation was a key focus in 2025. Sales of the Bosch Cookit smart cooking inspiration pot and fully automatic coffee machines all achieved growth. In addition, through the launch of new product categories such as the Bosch air fryer and Bosch Spotless robotic vacuum cleaner, BSH Home Appliances further tapped into more growth potential.

Another core focus of BSH Home Appliances is on interconnected and AI-supported solutions that aim to provide real convenience, making daily life simpler. In this way, appliances are transforming from silent helpers to smart partners. One example of AI applications is the world's first AI recipe converter developed for the Bosch Cookit smart cooking inspiration pot, which can convert online recipes into guided cooking programs, thus expanding the range of cookable recipes to infinity. BSH Home Appliances has also set a benchmark in voice control: the first oven with fully integrated AI voice control in the Chinese market was launched at the beginning of this year, and applications in the clothing washing and drying field will be launched shortly.

In the current fiscal year, the market is expected to remain volatile. At the same time, BSH Home Appliances is confident in the correctness and necessity of its strategy. "The real recovery of the market is still unforeseeable. We expect that there will not be any external favorable factors in 2026 either. But we have a solid foundation to prove our strength in the market conditions of adversity," Dr. May Zhiyuan summarized. "Our guiding principle is: demonstrate resilience, invest in the future.
