At the "Boundless Art Realm | 2025 Sina Home Design & Art Trendsetter List" event, Professor Fu Jiong, Dean of the Design Trend Research Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Chief Aesthetics Advisor at Honor, shared key findings based on social media data. He pointed out that the current home aesthetics are undergoing a significant shift, with two major trends being particularly noticeable: firstly, the popularity of pure minimalist style is significantly diminishing; and secondly, Chinese style has completed its modern transformation and established a stable mainstream position.

Fu Jiong explained that by analyzing content on platforms like Xiaohongshu with over 10,000 likes, it is evident that the trend has changed. The previously popular "for simplicity's sake" minimalistism is giving way to more practical and emotionally resonant designs. At the same time, "Chinese style" has shed its stereotypes and, through its fusion with modern life aesthetics, has gained widespread market resonance.

This marks the transition of design trends from the pursuit of a single visual form to a new stage that is more focused on cultural connotation and real-life needs, which we can refer to as the "Boundless" phase.
