Faced with this narrow building passed down from the ancestor of the client, the smart home brand Yeelight and the designer Sun Huafeng deeply integrated intelligence with the cultural heritage of the ancient capital, transforming the once dark and cramped old house into a dream home that carries the lives of three generations.

This house was designed by the client himself. Due to the large staircase designed in the early years, which occupied nearly half the area, and the three walls and the only light source facing a narrow alley, it has long been faced with problems such as insufficient lighting, lack of functions, and oppressive space. How to achieve space release, light introduction, and a balance between generational needs without changing the structure has become the core issue of the renovation. Yeelight and designer Sun Huafeng worked together to transform the "narrow" into a unique space narrative thread, reconstructing the vitality of the old house.

In the entrance hall, Yeelight and designer Sun Huafeng chose the Qingkong® light to introduce natural light, simulating the Rayleigh scattering of the sun to accurately reproduce the real blue sky. Even in the narrow alley of the old house, one can feel the change of natural light, dispel the sense of space oppression, and give a sense of ritual upon returning home. At noon, it presents a clear blue sky after the rain, and in the evening, it gradually changes to a warm orange glow, echoing the light and shadow changes of the Yingtianmen.

In terms of lighting selection, the Yeelight magnetic track was used, with embedded installation making the originally cramped ceiling space look more expansive. At the same time, the track is arranged along the old house, further stretching the depth of the space, giving the narrow space a sense of "expansiveness." With the support of the magnetic track light with 10,000-level dimming, the brightness, color temperature, and intelligent联动 of the light have given the originally narrow and oppressive old house a unique artistic conception of "small in the big."

To meet the different living needs of the three generations of the family, Yeelight customized different scene modes. In the work area, one can switch to the focus mode with one click, providing a bright and high-color-temperature lighting environment to effectively improve work efficiency; in the living room play area, the soft light without flicker and blue light protection safeguards the children's vision health. Yeelight turns light into a life manager, customizing exclusive smart lighting for each generation under the same roof, realizing an ideal state of life that is close and independent.

After the renovation, each person has their own independent space in the old house. It is cleverly equipped with Yeelight Pro S series AI smart screens in each room.
