Pei County Road Repair Project: Enhancing Safety and Accessibility Pei County's County Road Comprehensive Repair Project

To further enhance the comprehensive road condition index and the percentage of good roads in Pei County, and to create a more convenient, smooth, and safe travel environment, the Pei County Highway Traffic Department has, through in-depth research and scientific decision-making, formulated the county road major and medium-term repair plan for this year. The construction team has been determined through public bidding, and some sections have already entered the construction phase. The investment in this major and medium-term road repair project is approximately 37 million yuan, involving 2 county roads with a total length of about 10.4 kilometers, including the X251 Dike Top Road and the X302 Master Line. The project plans to treat potholes, cracks, and rutting by means of partial excavation and overall maintenance.

"This road in front of our house has carried so much heartache and sweat for so many people. It's the main road to the county town. In the past, the road was full of potholes, and you would bounce if you weren't careful. But now, this road is being renovated," an elderly farmer said excitedly by the roadside.

Under the summer sky, with the sound of milling machines, the renovation project of the X302 Master Line has officially begun. This road starts at the intersection of the X302 Master Line and the X204 Longhe Road, extends westward along the existing road to the Yunglou Martyrs' Cemetery, with a total length of 6.632km and a design speed of 60km/h. The renovation of the X302 Master Line is an important measure taken by the Pei County Highway Traffic Department to improve the living conditions of residents along the route and to promote rural revitalization. As an important traffic artery connecting urban and rural areas and villages, the condition of the road directly affects the quality of traffic and the development potential of rural economies.

Through the major and medium-term renovation project, timely repairs to damaged roads and the improvement of traffic safety facilities have ensured the safety and convenience of daily travel for residents and vehicles. This also provides a more convenient channel for the smooth and rapid export of agricultural products, laying a solid traffic foundation for the transformation and upgrading of local industries and high-quality development.
